WeTubeLIVE 

Graphic of a video camera with dancing legs A living exhibition of 100 solos ripped from the internet and performed by a diverse group of young Tasmanians, WeTubeLIVE is a playful response to the video  sharing site YouTube. Each performer has selected and learned their favorite YouTube clip and they'll be staged live and simultaneously, filling the Albert Hall with  dancing, talking and singing young people. The audience is invited to walk through and around this giant living exhibition and experience YouTube as never before.

PANE

Women dressed in fifties dresses dancing in a shopfrontIn a prominent shop window, two living rooms recreated through billboard size photographic backdrops, are inhabited by women over the age of 50. Through movement, dance and conversation these women interact with their audience in a work that reinvigorates an appreciation for the joy, heartache, experience and beauty of age.

Sex, Death and a Cup of Tea

Linked by journeys across beautiful landscapes and between emotional states, Sex, Death and a Cup of Tea is warm, funny, poignant and provocative theatre. An eclectic offering from four internationally regarded playwrights, who drew inspiration from the remote Tasmanian towns they were each immersed in. These four short plays are unique and at the same time universal , reminding us how our own sense of place can connect us to those miles away.

Jane Franklin-an Examined Life

Portrait of Jane Franklin

Experience through music, narrative and images the passion and drive of Jane Franklin; explorer, diarist, campaigner and wife. Strings, piano, flute, accordion and voice combine to weave a memorable musical and visual journey. The performance traces Jane's life from her childhood to her final days employing music, prose, poetry, extracts from diaries and letters, re-enactments and visual images.
